The American Idol is an American singing competition debuted on the 11th of June 2002. It become one of the most popular shows on American television. It was created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller.
The American Idol seeks to discover the best singer in the US through a series of nationwide auditions. The people of America will decide the outcome of the later stages of the competition through voting. The judges consist of Grammy award-winning record producer and music manager Randy Jackson; Grammy award-winning pop singer and Emmy award-winning choreographer Paula Abdul; music executive and music manager Simon Cowell; and on the latest season Grammy award-nominated singer-songwriter and record producer Kara DioGuardi; gave critiques to the contestants performances.
